Spartacus?

Turned over part way through, so the first person I saw was Dave Toma!
Next was Portman from the film Bodyguard, so I thought it was going to be good, but sadly very badly acted and dubbed. Having said that it looks like the Spartacus mini-series draws heavily on this even though the time period is totally different.
