Tonight's episode 'Oh, BLAH'

I love the new series, I saw the Fox show and then I moved to Europe so I missed the 1st season of the show. I watched the premiere for season 2 and I like it, it's a raw version of Greg. But is that purple monster in the Season1 eps? I didn't really like that one.
