Terrence malick

So I watched the trailer for this after seeing stills and the only thing I could think through the whole trailer was Malick. I don't know if this was just the trailer, but the dialogue seemed so poetic, limited, and distant. Not as much in the camera work but dos the dialogue echo Malick undertones?
