Why did I have to LOVE the sitcoms that never lasted?

OK so I admit it, I am a sitcom addict. Problem is, I always seem to get hooked into the shows that fall under the ax by or before the end of their first season.

Accidentally On Purpose
Stark Raving Mad
Jesse
Veronica's Closet
Less Than Perfect
Good Morning Miami
It's Like, You Know
The Class
Oh Grow Up
Thanks
Union Station
Some of My Best Friends
It's All Relative
Coupling (US) -
(although I am sure I could be killed for liking that one)

So I'm sure that most of these are obscure at this point, and many of you may not have heard of most of them. Maybe I am just way too easily entertained, LOL. Anyone remember any of these?

I particularly agree with Accidently on Purpose, The Class, Thanks, and Some of My Best Friends.
Another sitcom that didn't get much of a chance was Grosse Pointe. I thought that it was well acted and funny. At least it is available on dvd.

"Working" with Fred Savage was another very hilarious show that met its demise far too soon. I don't get it.

Also "The Jake Effect" with Jason Bateman was brilliant but canceled.

This was a great show, and i was sorry to see it cancelled. The actress that was Lena was a riot...and Duncan was a doll...so, yup, I love sitcoms that never seem to last...

"Stark Raving Mad" was the best sitcom ever, and it was canceled after only one season. It starred Tony Shaloub (Monk) and Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother). It even won the People's Choice Award for Best New Comedy that year.

It's on YouTube, and I highly recommend watching it.

Please add Titus, the 1st season of The John Larroquette Show, The 1st season of The George Carlin Show, the 1st season of Love & War and the original Partners with Tate Donovan and Jon Cryer. The three 1st season choices are made up of great shows that we're assaulted suits and consultants who wrecked each of them going into season two. Bummer. Another short Jay Thomas sitcom that I liked was Married People. Good stuff. Looking for them to pop up on Hulu. I saw that That 80's Show made it to Hulu, but it was butchered worse than than the Season 1 DVD set of WKRP. Just horrid edits and deleted scenes to cut nearly all of the music and some places, generic Muzak was shoe horned in. Sad.
