A character that you MUST defend!!!

Simple, is there a character that you heard poor things about in this game that you felt were simply NOT true? I for one, heard some negative things about Magneto and that he isn't useful at all.

Now I agree that it normally comes down to opinion, but for me, most of the characters have some useful abilities that come in handy at SOME point and I bet that when you really love a character, you tend to overlook the flaws unless they are just incredibly bad. Magneto can solve most puzzles, has really good crowd control powers, plus he's got leadership. Add the fact that he has a shield and long range defense skills, with which you can compliment with some damage reducing gear, you've got a practically unbeatable character.

Anyone care to discuss a character in the game that they feel the same way about?
