I'm really confused on whether or not Wanda Maximoff has an accent in the comics. In this she has an English accent. It the Avengers and Iron Man animated series, she has an accent that I can't even begin to say where it's from. But in all three X-Men animated series, she has no accent, and speaks like a regular American. Can someone please clear this up?
Hard to tell, in the comics. Since it's just text, you only know if the characters have an accent if the writers make them throw in words from their native language (like Gambit's pidgin French), mispronounce words (Sugah!), or if another character comments on their accent. I don't know any of those things happening with Wanda, but that doesn't necessarily mean she lacks a non-American accent. The English accent from this game feels out-of-place, though; Wanda was raised by Roma until she was a teenager, so if anything she and her brother would have gypsy accents. That's probably what the Iron Man and Avengers cartoons were going for.
I also noticed Quicksilver has a similar accent to Wanda's voice on Iron Man in Ultimate Alliance 2 for the Wii, but thanks for giving me a little more info on the subject.
Jean Grey could have lived to become a god, but it was more important to her she die... a human.
