I got to be the vey first person to write on for this movies message board. Yeah me, I have never done that before. Well now that it is out of my system someone start talking about this movie. Ok I got one who has ever met Dave Foley, Lea Thompson, and/or any of the other cast.

I met Dave in Lincoln when most of the cast was in town with the Saddle Creek folks at the Tilly and the Wall/Neva Dinova show. I was just standing there watching the show when a red-haired lady said, "excuse me" to get past me in the crowd. I said, "oh, excuse me" and she went by. Right afterwards a friend of mine said, "i think that was the girl from Back to the Future!", and I of course said, "what the *beep* would Lea Thompson be doing in Lincoln at a Tilly and the Wall show?" Then I noticed she was standing next to Dave Foley, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! I got Dave's autograph, gave him a cd, chatted with him for a little bit and shook his hand. He was a nice guy.
I think we all fear being stuck in Nebraska. This movie should really hit home. haha. No but really just get to I-80 and its really easy to get Out of Omaha.
Hi unknownfan_4life. I think a lot of people have met Dave Foley. Suppose it'd be a different story in other locations where safety is compromised. He's been on two tours with the Kids In The Hall troupe members. Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson made themselves available after shows. They came out individually, stayed until they satisfied everyone's questions and requests and quietly left. There's a rumor online that they're doing test audience performances for another tour. Be prepared to wait outside for 1-2 hours, til the meet and greet parties end, but it's worth it!
Looking forwared to seeing this movie in theatres. In post-production this long? Does that mean they're still trying to find a distributor? It's an appealing cast just by looking at the credits list.
Hey, I have never posted on a movie message board before but this one is of special interest to me, so hey. I have met Dave Foley and Lea Thompson and the rest of the cast because they filmed this movie for two days at my house! Yes, just a couple weeks earlier I had been watching Dave Foley on the big screen in the movie "Sky High" and then he was walking up into my backyard saying "Hi, my name's Dave". It was a fairly surreal experience, people running all over my house with radios and Dave Foley and Lea Thompson filming scenes, even in my bathroom no less.
I believe much of the cast was at the concert because Nik Fackler, who plays one of the main characters in the movie, is friends with alot of the Saddle Creek guys and has done music videos and stuff for some of them. So he got the rest of the cast to go to a concert with him.
