Ben Nelson (Ex Gov) Sings Song as End of Movie???

We watched this whole horrible movie, just to see familiar stuff in and around Omaha. As Lincolnites, it was fun to see downtown Omaha, the Woodman Tower, etc. We watched the credits to see who they would thank, and the awful song that was playing at the end and as the credits rolled was sung by Ben Nelson, our ex-governor, and now Senator from Nebraska. OMG! Why was this never in our newspapers? I guess everybody was too ashamed and embarrassed by this fiasco.

Personally I didn't think the movie was that bad. Definitely not a favorite of mine but it had a decent cast and like the above poster, I watched it at first to see what they'd show of Nebraska, as I live just below Omaha. As for Ben Nelson's singing, well, I've heard worse and thought it was kind of cute to use his version of the song.

How did you miss it? It was on all of the news channels and played constantly on KFAB and KLIN. I think it was recorded from an Omaha Press Club show a few years back.
