Things I missed in the game... and a question

First of all I wanna say that this is the greatest game I have played on the PSP so far. Still there are some things I would love to have seen in the game:

-Barret: Why haven't they included Barret in the storyline? He is in my opinion one of the greatest FF characters of all time.
-No trip to Cosmo Canyon or the Golden Saucer. Two of my favourite spots in FF VII.

Anybody else feels like he wanted to see something else in CC?

And I have another question:
At the end of Crisis Core we see the video that Final Fantasy VII starts with. Aeris in Midgar while the camera zooms out and shows Cloud on the train.
At that moment we hear Cloud say something like: "My name is Cloud, soldier first class". Is this a plot-hole? Cause as far as I know, FF VII starts off with Cloud being in the anti-soldier/shinra groep AVALANCHE, which means he's not in Soldier anymore...

Please enlighten me...

He's an ex-soldier/mercenary by that point. The clip you heard was probably a memory in his head from what he may have told someone before.

Cloud wasn't actually in AVALANCHE at the start of the game...he was just doing a job he was hired for (blowing up the reactor). He'd already formed his false memory/Zack persona at that point.

But I do see your point...he should've said "I'm Cloud. Ex-SOLDIER 1st Class."

first of all, the game was only concentrated on Zack's side of the story and the immediate characters that were close to him, such as Sephiroth, turks, tifa and cloud. i think having other ordinary characters butt in would just interfere. i dont see how they would have any connection to Zack. i'm sure they really wanted to squeeze in a few, but it would have just butted in. the game was specifically and strictly about Zack.

we all know that Zack and Cloud were paired in an experienment. so uh cloud isnt really himself, hes a very confused individual thinking all these things happened. so of course he was going to say Soilder 1st class, but all know he never made it to that stage. like the other dude said, either it was a memory or probably a mistake they forgot to fix.

He's just making up his story, and he hasn't even met Tifa or anyone in avalanche

Actually he really did know Tifa from his childhood

yup Cloud and Tifa lived in Nebelheim its it even shown in FF VII in the flashbacks as you progress the story

Not only did he know Tifa from his childhood, but FFVII also shows that she found him when he made his way into Midgar thus getting him involved with AVALANCHE

I meant before he takes zk-s persona then he meets up with tifa agan after 5 years i was returning to the poit where before he ame to midgar and made up the memories
