..You're Next and The Purge recently I sort of have a new found enjoyment of The Strangers. Sure the protagonist were dumb as rock, but they were just as dumb in The Purge. The Strangers was truly creepy, which isn't true for You're Next, which was nearly a comedy, even if an entertaining one.

I never disliked the Strangers, but I think now I realize they did the home invasion flick really well.

I agree, I watched it again recently and had a renewed appreciation for it.

I think this is one of the best horror movies in the last decade easily. Made my wife watch it on Halloween a few years ago. She flipped the *beep* out when my buddy brought his daughter over at 10:30 pm for a last stop trick or treat. She wouldn't answer the knock at the door!
