Kidnapped and enslaved by the government

So, Ham III is clearly a sentient being who, in pretty much every way, acts like a hairy person rather than an animal. He's kidnapped and enslaved by the government, then forced into this mission against his will. Tricked into boarding the spacecraft, when he objects to his enslavement, he is beaten and thrown into solitary confinement.

You know, a story for kids! :)
