It's been like a year since I've seen this so excuse me if I'm mistaken, but wasn't there a box that Jeffrey was very secretive about? Did we ever find out what was in that box?

shareThat box is also addressed in the "Dahmer" movie. It's been a few years since I've seen that, but as the other poster said, it contained adult magazines -- not serial-killer stuff. Jeffrey's father found it and spoke to him about it.
shareIn real life there was a box like that, it had been Jeff's father's when he was a boy, he had kept something in it ... I think it was all his stuff for doing magic tricks with. He wanted to look in it but Jeff wouldn't let him, he said it was because he kept porn in it, so he managed to talk his father out of it. But in fact he had a severed human head in the box, IIRC. This was in real life though, the movie may have played it differently.
shareThanks for the details. As I recall, in the movie the box contains only adult magazines. The box is only addressed here as a foreshadowing to Jeffrey keeping secrets and having a very dark side that he wanted to hide from others. It also shows the uncomfortable relationship with his father.
