As A Person Who Despises The Rap Genre. Is This Worth A Look?

I'm a rock guy. I personally find the rap and hip hop genre to be quite laughable. No offense just my opinion. I've heard some mixed things about Rapturious, and wondered If anyone would recommend it? I've enjoyed films like Tales From The Hood which was very well done, but again rap isn't my thing. I own over three thousand horror dvds', so I'll, likely buy it no matter what, I just wish to know whether I need to get drunk first to stomach the rap stuff. Debbie Rochon always elevates the films she's in, so maybe there is hope.

I saw it a couple of days ago,and I'll be honest,it really isn't a hip-hop movie at all. It has traces of it,but I think "Urban" would be more of an accurate description. As a matter of fact the music playing when the titles begin and end sound like classic rock to me.

I'm also a rock guy and I hate (c)rap music. But I liked Raptorious and the fact he's a rapper didn't bother me. And the music of the movie isn't rap if it is what you want to know.

I'm way late on this conversation, but being a completionist is no excuse to send a pro-rap message by owning this garbage! I also despise rap/hip hop but I don't find it laughable as much as infuriating. Because in 2014 it seems to have infected every part of the entire world's culture. Especially us in the U.S. That and political correctness are destroying us.
