Agree this movie discussion is a great example of where these boards excelled and were unique.
shareThere were some great discussions on this board over the years. IMDB/Amazon seem to want to throw away their communities to Facebook and Twitter. Not sure who they think are going to get to edit the FAQs, trivia sections etc.
The fact IMDB saw necessary to delete old threads should have been a sign of their lack of commitment to the boards.
I see many of the same names from 10 years ago are still here! Keeping the Magician's Circle strong and denying the deceptive nature of the film :) 🎩
Ever since Amazon bought IMDB, it's become just an advertising site.
Movie companies want to squelch spoilers, trolls, and 'hate reviews'.
