The Title

The title is identical to a line in the first episode of Blackadder Goes Forth, where Blackadder tells Melchett a painting by Baldrick is called 'My Family, and Other Animals'. It's probably just a coincidence, but I thought I'd throw it out there in the unlikely event anyone finds it interesting. Sorry.

Then Blackadder ripped off Gerald Durrell. Durrell's book is exceedingly well known in the UK, so it's not a coincidence, it's mimicry.

In his next book "Birds, beasts and relatives", Gerald Durrell made fun of his title saying that someone asked Larry "..and which other animal are you?"
