I remember

reading her books when I was growing up. Does anyone else?

reply

I do! Well, that was about 11 years ago, or something. I also remember the animated movies of the stories. Good Times... Good times... :D

Did you just accuse me of being skillful and delicious?

reply

No, I never read them as a child. When my nephew was born 18 years ago (I can't believe it was that long ago), though, I bought a complete set of the books to give to my sister for him. For some reason, I never did give them to her. Around the time I started hearing about the movie, I suddenly remembered I had some Beatrix Potter books, so I went looking for them among my books. Imagine my surprise when I saw that they're exactly the same as the ones they show in the movie! I was thrilled!

I LOVED her stuff when I was little.

Unfortunately, I can't remember hardly any of it...but her name has always brought me extremely fond memories.

I had a set of Peter Rabbit popup books. I don't know what happened to them, but now I'm going to go look for them! I'm sure that when I have children, I'll want them to have them.

I definitely remember loving her books when I was younger. Good times.

I read the stories when I was quite young and still remember the most famous character, Peter Rabbit. However, I was enchanted all over again when I watched this film last night. Today, I went forthwith to the bookstore and purchased a collection for my nephew and godson. I'm planning to return to get the collection myself; no lover of children's literature should be without these classic tales.
