it was boring

Sorry - that's not a good enough reason to call this movie boring (please look up definition of boring)

I was distracted by her annoying expressions all the time - but I certainly didn't find the movie boring.

Not hardly! It was one of the most charming movies I've ever seen. The scenery, the costumes, the artwork, the acting....it was all done to near perfection. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would - felt thoroughly entertained and learned something about Potter, especially the good she did for the land and people in the area.

I did have to get past her supposed English accent, as in Bridget Jones but other than that I did not find the film boring at all. As others have said, the story, the scenery, all were beautiful. it was a beautiful movie. I know some would see it as boring because it was not super fast paced but beautiful films often aren't and those who appreciate it, do.
