The worst movie I've seen in a long time. (Including 'The Last Mimzy.')

I just watched the DVD and I was so disappointed. The acting was terrible (except for Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Gina Torres), the writing was awkward and unfunny and the set up was completely unrealistic.

If you're thinking about renting this movie, I'd recommend you skip it.

All the comments are true.

This is one to leave on the shelf. Contrived crap, and doesn't know what kind of movie it is. It's not funny, but sets up numerous attempts trying to be. Unlikeable characters. Horrendous writing and worst of all, the actors seem to think they know what they're doing. It's so hard to watch, I pitched it after about 45 mins.

It wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, not by a long shot. But it did drag and become too predictable. Maybe there were too many stories, maybe the characters weren't interesting enough... but it wasn't a bad effort. But it was a little too obvious what would happen at the end of the pic - all endings tied up with a tidy little (happy) bow.

The contrived lesbians w/child story.
Just way to many obnosious people..

Yes in todays world this could be considered so 'indie'.. but its just crap.

I need to keep in mind that due to the extreme need for any 'programming' to fill in cable time. Even d..kheads can get something produced.
Hell the stock market. Become an 'indie' director... and live the life of deep sleep....

Yes it was a bad effort, maybe the director saw the 1975 film "Nashville" by Robert Altman.

There is a scene where all the characters meet up due to a car crash on a Nashville freeway, but thankfully it's not the whole movie. Which is why "Nashville" worked.

I gave up on this as well, thankfully it was on cable and not a rental.
