I switched back and forth playing this game with my bro- and sadly, I missed ALL the Hollister levels.

For me what made them such badasses was just how evil they were.

hollister is fairly simple...lay into him with either your quick draw or neds rifle...and then when he comes at you with the dynamite stuck in him hit quickdraw and unload on him center mass...

All you guys seem to be playing on Normal or Easy difficulty. I finished Normal, but because I wanted more of the game, I started playing in Insane mode, which was impossible, so I settled down with Hard, which was brilliantly challenging (try clearing out the Alhabra in the beginning with Hard, and you'll see what I mean).
All the bosses, except Hollister and Magruder were 'possible' to defeat. Hollister finally went down with a *beep* of shotgun shells in the face delivered from approx. 4 feet away, and a lot of that whiskey or whatever. I had to use the trainer for Magruder, no shame in admitting it, as I said, YOU TRY.
And every one is forgetting the big nasty bear in the beginning, and if you do the Hunter missions, at the very end. I'd rate him a 1, for pure disgruntled furry animal instinct.

I'd say HOLLISTER hands down is the most evil, scariest, craziest looking SOB in the game.
He scares me...
His army scares me...
His fort scares me...
I'd say that was one of the more interesting levels to look around and fight in. The fact that even after you beat the fort, his men mysteriously keep showing up... what the hell?! They never stop coming!
Yeah, he was fairly easy, but the fact that he jammed dynamite into the bullet holes he received and comes after you willing to kill both of you, that has to say something about him.
Plus with all those scars on his face, who knows WHAT the heck that guy had been through!
