Colton is a Native American Indian.... last time I heard Hugh Jackman isn't. There has been a "lot" of cowboy movies done with just about every type of story done that you could do about this type of stuff. The story of the game isn't anything different that hasn't already been done before. It depends on how the film is made and if people would want to see it.

yeah. just swap round the actors of Hoodo and McGruder as they look like each others roles.

Keep the main cast as it is. Make Jenny be any sassy blonde actress.

I agree, and it's interesting as many of the voices actually resemble the characters they portray.

Brad Dourif would be PERFECT as Josiah Reed cuz he practically looks like him. Just give Wormtongue facial hair and wallah. And if you HAVE to mix it up, Gary Oldman as Reed.

The guy writing the screenplay for the last Zorro movie wrote this game. That movie even had a railroad tycoon and a mad preacher.

i think this would make a hella sick movie. i mean, they're already making hitman a movie and it looks okay. but GuN would make an awesome movie because it has a great storyline. unlike doom which i was dissapointed with.

No, Colton's look and his face was molded after Thomas Jane. So it is just you. But a lot of Cowboy characters have that type of look.

As I am currently adapting the game into a screenplay, this is who I would like to see play the main roles...it's pretty much the same as the game honestly...

Colton White: Thomas Jane
Ned White: Kris Kristofferson
Reed: Brad Dourif OR Jackie Earle Haley (Haley is an amazing actor who could bring a great creepiness to Reed)
Hoodoo: Ron Perlman OR Dwayne Johnson (He might be a good pick, plus he'd add another dimension of suaveness to the character)
Clay: Tom Skeritt
Soapy: Anthony Rapp
Jenny: Kaley Cuoco or Vinessa Shaw
Port: Karl Urban

Hollister has been a challenge because you need someone really big and physically imposing, my first instinct was Triple H, but I don't think he would be able to hang with everyone else, acting wise...I decided to go with someone who has acting chops over physical ones...

Hollister: Josh Brolin

That being said, if Triple H could do a decent job as an actor, he'd be my next pick...

Magruder has been the most challenging as I can't think of anyone who really fits the role physically, so I made a change in my mind and picked an actor who I thought would best ACT in the role, not just look the role with that being said...

Magruder: Mickey Rourke
My backup plans would be guys who could act and do more physically resemble the in game character and they are: John Goodman or James Gandolfini

There really isn't much need to change the cast, depending on how much star-quality you were after. Thomas Jane IS Colton, the same goes for Kris Kristofferson and Brad Dourif and their respective characters. The most difficult characters to cast would be Magruder and Hollister because of their physique.

However, who thinks this would be a really interesting project for Quentin Tarantino in the future? It has all his hallmarks. I figure if he's doing genre movies now, the Western's a must.

i think it would make a good movie. one of the reasons game movies fail is because the story lines are too long to fit in, but because of the short yet great storyline this would go well in film. and the voice actors are all great screen actors.

just put Jessica Alba as jenny, she looks like her anyway

actually i do genuinely think that jessica alba looks like jenny.

and i would definately have thomas jane over russel crowe, i like crowe, but jane did the original, looks the part, and is a great film actor

Actresses (to name a few) suchs as Samantha Mathis, Diane Kruger, Sandra Hess, Anna Gunn, Lauren German, and Bryce Dallas Howard look far more like Jenny.

Tom would be great as Colton... although looking at Colton from the game he didn't really have white skin.
