Warren Haynes....'Do ya wanna feed the ducks?'

So, I work at a hotel and this morning I get a call to go up and help a guest with their luggage. Right? Pretty standard stuff. I get to the room and the guest has a guitar, amongst the other usual stuff and I just totally recognize the guy. But I couldn't place him at all. So, we roll downstairs with all his stuff and it is just driving me nuts. We start walkin' outside to the car that is there to pick him up and it just hits me. I turn and say to him, "So, do ya wanna go feed the ducks or something?" He laughs and says, "Yeah, I've been getting that a lot lately." That is pretty much the extent of it. I've never listened to the Allman Brothers or been into the whole jam band scene, so I don't really know who he is, but I just watched this film last week and that line stuck with me. Anyways, super frindly dude and not much of a story, but he didn't want sleep with my girlfriend or feed the ducks with me, either. So, don't take it personally Gordo.

Nice! Warren Haynes is the man!

You should check out his band, Gov't Mule. Even if you're not into the whole jam band scene you should check these guys out. They started it as kind of a tribute to power trios like Cream, so if you like good old fashioned rock with some killer guitar solos then they're for you!

Gov't Mule is an excellent and, and Warren Haynes is a top-notch musician. I assume he was in on the joke, right?
