their decision (SPOILER)

When Jose and Nina are at the abortion clinic and he whispers to her, I assume he was whispering that he would raise the child. But then they show Nina go into the examination room and lie down, and then she comes out crying. So what exactly happened there? Why did she go in the room if they were keeping the baby?
