Are you people kidding Samurai 7 is one of the best anime's ever created, and you can't really compare this to Champloo there complete different in every way.

I don't think you can really compare the anime's well maybe Samurai X ... no not even that it is more of a Romance. Anyways those samurai animes are based off being either mainstream or romance while this is more about deeper meaning, I would probably compare it to more likely Full Metal Alchemist, Evangelion and others like it. There is more meaning towards the end as well as characters you like dying and characters you don't like not dying.
sharei agree though i just started watching this. I'm not into the big machine animes so thats why this is not up on my last though i like the characters.
