Brilliant acting from Scott Mechlowicz!

First time watching Scott Mechlowicz in any movie & I was shocked at his brilliance. This bloke made the film for me, not once did I ever doubt his acting. He played the perfect cunning sociopath! I watched this late one night in a motel stop over (not too disimilar to the one in the movie) with my dad. By the end of it, all I can say is that we were both in awe. That next day we spent litterly 3 hours talking about the realism of the characters as we drove through (funnily enough) the outback on our way to Coral Bay, Western Australia. Lets just say, we didn't pick up any hitch-hikers that day! This is the first time since I watched Hannibal Lecter's character in Silence of the Lambs that I have been litterly mesmerised by an actor's sheer talent. Please tell me I'm not alone on this here; I have noticed the below par rating by IMDB users but still, Scott Mechlowicz's acting litterly MADE this movie for me.
