is this a sequal to the 1999 bats film that had dina meyer and lou diamond philips in it? if so they waited a hell of a long time to make this one. and there is none of the original cast in it and it's set in a totally different part of the world. so is it really a sequal??

I wish I could think of something witty to put here, but I can't.
