Jean looked like Pee Wee Herman

Early in the film, in the character of Jean, I saw a young Pee Wee Herman. I couldn't shake this image throughout the rest of the film. Actually it wasn't a bad thing, really, I'm just saying, that Pee Wee Herman was popping in and out of my mind throughout the film. It made the film even more enjoyable.

Until now I'd never seen a film with Gad, so I admit that I kinda got that too. But as the film went on, I began to find him really attractive. He has very revealing and soulful eyes without being pervy. But yeah, he definitely has a Pee Wee-ness about him. I still like him though.

He reminded me of Jonathan Richman!

yes, something about his profile and especially his dark, short hair made me see a hint of Pee-Wee too... which was disconcerting because his character was so quiet and kind of lonely. But his green eyes were gorgeous and when he was riding the scooter he looked cute!

Ha! I LOL'd at this. You're right. I also think of Ray Romano when I see him.

I think at the beginning he was made to look dorky. Definitely by the time he got that sharp suit and scooter Jean was handsome in my eyes. But having dated someone w similar features I recall feeling unsettled by such big soulful eyes only to end up mesmerized and deeply enchanted!
