Yes, Titanic is not on my list because I'm looking for movies that I feel that the two characters seem to have real chemistry towards each other...
1. The world of Suzie Wong 2. Love Jones 3. Dirty Pretty Things 4. Cash Back 5. Leaving Las Vegas 6. Happy Accidents 7. Priceless 8. B Monkey 9. Jet Leg 10. Jerry MaGuire
That's a pretty great list! I loved Cashback but I didn't feel the leads had much chemistry at all :/. If the casting was slightly different there's a good chance it would be on my list. Here's mine:
1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2. Breakfast at Tiffany's 3. The Painted Veil 4. Sex, Lies, and Videotape 5. When Harry Met Sally 6. Amelie 7. Lost in Translation 8. Edward Scissorhands 9. Reality Bites 10. Happy Accidents :)
Honorable Mentions: - Priceless :) (I loved this film so much which is why im in the boards. really felt the chemistry between the two.) - Wristcutters: A Love Story (Something about these two together was really charming) - Hackers (obviously there was chemistry as the two leads got married :p) - The Fifth Element (really felt the chemistry here, maybe it's just me but that last scene where he admits he loves her really gets me) - Loser (thought these two were adorable together but in reality i'm pretty sure they're good friends) - Where the Heart Is (I love how the leading man treats portman, really enjoyed this love story) - Closer (not exactly romantic but I really felt strong chemistry between all characters and thought it deserved mention.)
1. Wuthering Heights 2. Forest Gump 3. Jerry Mcquire 4. Cousins 5. Groundhog Day 6. What Women Want 7. Love Is a Many Splendored Thing 8. A Tale of Two Cities 9. As Good As It Gets 10. An Office and a Gentleman
The 'Before...' films are truly the greatest trilogy ever. Spectacular dialogue in those films. It's rare that a film consisting of little more than amusing banter between two people can be so engaging. I'm hoping for another addition to the series one day...
i don't have any exact list at the moment. but off the top of my head this is one of the better rom-coms i have seen. i actually just finished seeing this movie for the first time a moment ago and i give it a solid 7/10. it's within my Top 15 movies of 2006.
I just finished re-watching it just now (Oct 23rd 2015) and it holds steady. it's a bit different from all of your usually variations of these kinds of movies and it's got a nice feel to it to and it's occasionally funny.
7/10 ; it's my 10th favorite movie of 2006. it's also within my Top 275-ish movies to out of the 1,900+ total i have seen.
