Anyone Elses Notice The Goof ???

When they are talking about The Ultimate Warrior missing several shows in 1996, there is a poster advertised for an event and it quite clearly states "World Champion" Ultimate Warrior Vs Vader"

Please explain somebody

reply

I did notice it but have no explanation for it. I suppose one could speculate that Ultimate Warrior was slated to win the WWF title and the poster was pre-printed. However, I find it extremely unlikely that the Warrior may have been scripted to win any titles in 1996.

Also during the "Warrior missing dates in 1996" segment, I also found it odd that the DVD also showed flyers advertising his matches from the 80s and early 90s.

reply

because they were probably raw shows and I doubt warrior was the main attraction in 96 so they just used old posters from the early 90's 80's where he was the top draw.to make it look like his absence had more of an impact than it probably did.

Actually, the dates he missed were house shows. Because remember, Vince said Warrior failed to appear where advertised. If he were advertised on Raw, we would've heard about it on television. I never missed Raw back then and I don't recall him being advertised and then not appearing. I'd say all of the missed dates were non-televised house shows.

I'm almost completely sure that Vince is in the wrong 99% of the time in disputes with wrestlers. But if there ever was a time he was right, it was when he fired this lunatic.
