The dvds are for sale. Go to www.cheesynuggets.com
Remember that this is a movie made by kids. Although we think it is pretty good...it is not a slick hollywood production.
For those in Austin, TX, there will be a dvd release party on Dec. 17, 2006.
Thanks to everyone who has lent their talent & support to the project over the past 3 years.

I just placed my order, and I'm really looking forward to finally seeing Pathogen. You go, Emily! Best of luck to you in your future ventures, as well.

Got mine and LOVE them. Anyone could take a cue from Emily, as she shows what even a kid can do if they put their minds to it. And, by the way, HOLLYWOOD could take a cue from her, as what she did was not only entertaining, but original. Something sorely lacking in Hollywood these days. Kudos to Emily, and to her family for supporting her in this endevor.

uh huh... very original... virus in the water supply, people turning into zombies.. never seen that before

Don't be a dick. For a bunch of junior high kids, this is a damn impressive achievement. Let's see the full-length motion picture you made when you were 12. Yeah...that's what I thought. Rock on, Emily!

Greetings Family-Hagins,

I just finished watching my copy of "Pathogen" and I have to say I loved it. The excitement, love, and fun that was put on the screen entertained me way beyond the typical mega-budged blockbuster. Congrats on a wonderful creation. Emily, please keep 'em comimg! You are a very talented young lady, and also very blessed to have such supportive parents and friends. Harry's defense of you and your project just goes to show it.

As much as I loved the movie, I found the commentaries joyful as well. The actors obviously had great respect for you, and with good reason. The amount of work this took is staggering to myself, an adult. Heck, even taking the time to post this little note is about all I find myself having time for.

The whole cast turned in really fun performances, but the stand out actor is young Tiger Darrow. If she's not in either a major motion picture or a buzz-worth indy film (whichever she chooses) before she's 18, I'll eat my keyboard.

As for other people trying to decide if they should order the DVD, if you like encouraging the next generation, if you enjoy stories told across a dinner table, if you like zombie movies, or if you think you'd like to see a young talent on the ground floor this is the DVD for you. And it's really cheap, too! No price gouging here, no artiste pricing. Best of all, when Emily is a big name director, you will have the sweetest privilege ever...being able to say "Oh yah, I've know about her for years" to your out of touch friends.

This project is truly a testament to the wonders of the modern age, not the showy ones, but the personal ones, and Emily M. Hagins is showing us the world inside our door.

Keep on rolling!

Tim Reynolds

I have to post that I do not know you so people don't think this is a friend or relative. The three people who auditioned for their roles...Tiger Darrow, Alex Schroeder, and Natalie Nooner, were all well-chosen and have a lot of talent... and lets not forget Davy (Harry's Nephew, Gio)! Both Tiger and Natalie have film backgrounds and Alex loves stage and theater. I look forward to seeing a lot of these talented actors in the future. The rest of the cast were mainly friends, family of friends and family who agreed to help out Emily and probably didn't know what they were getting into! I know the people who have acting backgrounds brought a lot to the project, but EVERYONE worked really hard AND had a lot of fun. It was surely a team effort. Thanks for your kind words!

why not sell some copies to Netflix so we can rent it? (or even sign a contract with them for "instant viewing")

Because Pathogen was an extremely low budget indie film made by a kid, with all inherent technical and artistic flaws, it is probably best to keep this DVD on the grass-roots level of business. I really don't think it is appropriate to have the appearance of taking it to a level where anyone is making a profit from the effort, as this taints the project in an unsavory fashion. We are happy to share the product of emily's passionate first big effort for other people to enjoy in the spirit in which it was made. If ordering a DVD presents an inconvenience, but, it is probably the best distribution for that project. Emily just wanted to make it for her love of movies and it was a learning experience.

You can clear up most those technical flaws in your computer. Or feel free to use the cleaned up one I sent a while back where I cleaned up the sound and some of the editing issues. You'll have to remix the music and sound at the very end where I changed it and the ax hit no longer matches. But it's Emily's movie so she can use that version if she wants or create a new one.

Check out createspace.com as far as distributing it. They help put it on Amazon and you can also set up digital downloads for people to own or just rent it. Looks like a great service.

You shouldn't be shy about getting this movie and Emily's story out there. For a 12 year old to have made a full length movie is very inspirational. For aspiring filmmakers of ALL ages.(us adults can learn to get off our butts and get to work, if a 12 year old can do it we all should be able to)

Me and my wife sat down last night and watched Pathogen(followed by the doc Zombie Girl). We loved it! While it had some technical issues, I can see past those and what I saw was a great little movie. It was fun! I could tell everyone involved seemed to have alot of fun as well.

I'm glad I was able to see it(and buy it from your web site), and I hope to see some of Emily's future movies.

Keep up the good work!!

I can't find this, nothing on the cheesynuggets web site any more.

Hi. We ran out of stock and decided to stop producing the dvds. Right now cheesynuggets.com is under construction. If you really want to see the movie, it comes packaged with Zombie Girl, the Movie, and i think ZGTM is still available to order at various outlets.
