Watched it tonight - impressed.

I had never heard of the movie before (and judging by the just 25 votes it has received so far, not many people have, either) - in fact I only got into it as Borat was sold out and so I decided to go for the only other movie that hadn't started yet (something I very rarely do but I was in the mood for a movie)

To keep it short, I was quite impressed. While it may not be a masterpiece, it had some interesting ideas, good execution and production values, and likeable characters despite their personal weaknesses.

"Mischief Night" plays out like an illegitimate offspring (no pun intended) of Mike Leigh and Gurinder Chadha; a real sleeper and crowd pleaser (at least it seemed to impress the crowd of 2 at the cinema tonight) with a winning formula.

Definitely worth catching.
