Poor casting and attention to detail

It is quite evident that the makers of Mischief Night didn't really make a big effort to get the vocabulary right when portraying the working class Pakistani household. Maybe they got in an Indian to advise on all things Pakisrani? like throughout the film, Mrs Khan ( Shobha Kapoor or Geeta from Eastender's if you may) did a horrible job with the Pakistani-Punjabi dialect, one example was the use of the word "somwar" (monday) which is only used by Indians not Pakistanis.

Immi Khan also looked nothing like a Pakistani, seemed to be more of a South Indian descent.

Tyler was also weak casting, there was nothing great about his acting, they could have used anyone for that role and it would have been better.

Qasim Akhtar as Asif Khan was fantastic though and for me, made the film worth watching!
