I hate to pile on (but here I go anyway), but I didn't care much for the film either. I think the script had potential, but Danielle Agnello and Joe Hall are too full of their "acting!" training and theater groups to step outside themselves and be natural, both in their acting and directing. The acting seemed forced, like in an acting class; instead of believable characters, we were watching performances. The directing was very stylish, but didn't give any feel to the film. It only seemed artsy for artsy's sake.
I notice these two, who co-wrote, directed, and acted in the film, haven't done much since this. I see talent there, but they need to get out of the bubbles they are in to let that talent show itself. Maybe hallucinogens would help!
