The Worst Movie Ever Made???

The audience at the World Premiere in Palm Springs the other night was howling with laughter throughout the film. Laughing AT the film, not with it. During the Q&A, they told the director point blank that the film was awful. No one disagreed. I personally think they were being too kind. Everything was beyond bad: sound, lighting, acting, script, direction, etc. I bet the catering was even bad.

This guy has 2 of 3 worst films ranked at Metacritic.com, out of 1000s of movies in the last decade.

The people commenting and posting here who liked this film in anyway must be best friends with the director or literally blind and deaf.

I am posting this as a public service.

I must disagree. I was there for the Q & A. I did not say much because I wanted to hear what the filmmaker and actors had to say. I must confess I was one of those also laughing at times, but not because it was awful, but because of the dark humor in the film. Obviously, an opinion is like an ass, everyone has one. I thought the premise was well thought out and the film was VERY entertaining. The bad sound lighting you are probably talking about is obviously the awful projection of the festival and the bad sound system. Most films from the festival I saw at the same theatre had awful sound

You are probably the one who's been writing "worst film ever made" on the websites of all imdb films. (because they all have one lol) Every film you see on this imdb site interestingly enough has a "worst film ever made"... is that you? or your cousins ? By the way I'm neither blind nor deaf and I hardly think you could ever do better as a writer, actor or filmmaker.

As far as the filmmakers previous works, I can't judge on that but I'm astute enough not to judge this film by his former work. I liked it! a lot!!!

Take note "Worst Movie ever made"... I love Brokeback Mountain and I think it is the best movie ever made and still you will find many relatives of yours who thought it was the worst!

I could not disagree more with lajoan. I don't know what kind of public service you are doing by bashing the filmmaker. I agree with Jason Mckeney. You were probably the person who told the panel how awful the movie was. I spoke to the filmmaker and this is not quite a world premiere. The world premiere is where the final film will be screened, not a video work in progress (if you payed ANY attention to what was said at the Q&A). Some of the comments I heard at the panel discussion was in poor taste and without class. I would hardly say that no one disagreed for now you have two people who did. I highly recommend this movie to any one who likes suspenseful dramas!... oh, and by the way, no I'm not a friend of the director even though I did meet him that night.

lajoan-l is a dumbass - so everyone is deaf and blind because they don't agree with you...yeah... makes lots of sense!!!

A friend of mine worked on this film.
I can tell you, according to him the director had little interest in trying to do a good job. He was interested in making a film that would appeal to the gay niche market with some sex in it, and making the film as cheaply as possible to maximize profits. Some of the actors had to be intoxicated in order to perform their scenes, they were so uncomfortable and poorly directed.

lajoan1,

I totally agree with everything you said! "The House Of Adam" is one of the all-time worst films I have ever seen. It took me three times to get through the entire film, because it is so unbelievably bad. I should receive some kind of award for subjecting myself to such dribble! At least it was good for a few unintentionally funny moments.
