Awful film - spoilers but there's not much to spoil here

I felt compelled to write a warning for all people thinking of wasting time on this flick. I am not one of those people who slate an action film after watching it expecting to see academy award winning acting, however I do expect to come away from it feeling somewhat satisfied.
I thought the acting was awful, but I didn't watch this film for that, as someone else pointed out these guys are ex wrestlers and pro fighters so one should not expect fantastic performances but I thought the plot was pathetic. The ending was dire, the straw that broke the camels back was when the bag of cash was handed over to Gabrielle (sp) after the final scene, I mean why. The whole 'I shot your son' scene was laughable, and why was the gang was constantly fighting eachother and breakiong eachothersnecks, how long would it be before there were no more gang members left? It did surprise me how many thugs were martial arts experts, and where were all the cops in all this.

GARBAGE.

if you dont like kickboxing films, dont watch it.

ignore this user guys, film is watchable.

hehe true. In martial arts films you should forget any sense of reality, especially in B-movies like this one. Just enjoy the fighting, nothing else.

In the real world the gang would be mopped up by an entire police force in no time. Molesting 2 cops will get you that. The alibi thing will not work since 2 cops are more trustworthy than the gang of course.

No, it's really not. Whoever did all the camera work should never work on another film ever. It's absolutely horrible, and takes any energy you should feel right out of the scenes. And the fight choreography... poop. I get pumped when I see Piper on screen brawling it out the way he does because, well, he usually does a great job of making it seem real and gritty. However, not enough of that in this film, and all the other fighters showed that they are best doing it in the ring and not on the screen.

This movie might be worth watching IF it was Piper streetfighting for an hour straight. But then, if you want that, just watch one of his old wrestling matches in the 80's.

I wish I had read your warning BEFORE I watched this piece of *beep* "film."

Just bad everywhere and with a touch of mediocre on everything. Some great fighters paired up with a few decent actors and somehow this mess resulted. The only consolation is that it was ridiculously short, even for a poorly written fight flick.
