Could they have had more BABIES in this movie?

I mean seriously. How many babies were depicted in the homes of these families anyway? Ever tried to count them all?

This one's holding a baby, that one's breastfeeding a baby, the other one's trying to balance TWO of 'em while on the phone.

We get the message, filmmakers - these folks had families. No need to hit us over the head with a 2 x 4.

All the babies and kids running around in this film did my head in.

"I haven't got time for this Mickey Mouse bulls***"

So many babies in the movie indeed. Makes me wonder if filmmaker had some deeper message in displaying all those babies. And by the way those two (or was it three) kids who kept disturbing their mom while she had a very important phone call from her husband made want to kick my tv screen. I almost felt like they were in my room disturbing my watching experience.

I agree with you, Pipeman, there was no need to be so obvious.

Dear God, won't somebody think of the children !!

No, you're right, Pipeman, they sure laid it on a bit thick.

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.

Liz and Jeremy Glyck had just had a baby in June of 2001. Tom Burnette and his wife had twin daughters. Todd Beamer and his wife had 2 children and she was pregnant with their third at the time. That's why they depicted the children there, you incomprehensible idiots.

Ahhh, the sweet smell of IMDb keyboard-warriorship. A perpetual argument against democracy.

When Elizabeth is talking on the phone to her mother, you see children playing in the background when they most likely would of been in school that day.

As someone that was around on 9/11 I can testify that after the first 2 flights crashed that almost everything in the country closed or shut down early..I suppose schools would've been 1st on that list.
I remember going out to get a sound card for my computer and finding the city and surrounding neighborhoods eerily empty...malls and businesses dark and deserted as if it were the apocalypse.

I did finally find a Circuit City open and naturally everyone that was in there were huddled around the TV section.

Dang dude, I remember that! I was actually 11 years old at the time and I still had to go to school. In fact, I remember when I got up one morning and thought it was unreal. My parents were watching the small, old television we had and I was laughing because I was like "WTF is this?" Then immediately after, I had to eat breakfast, take a shower, and off to my homeroom I went. Throughout the entire day, no one mentioned anything about what happened. Of course, I was all the way in California.

Most people have children. Get over yourself.

BAG is the toughest union in the country. They had the producers over a barrel and forced them to hire all of the babies you see on the screen (plus a few whose scenes ended up on the cutting room floor).
