I remember that Raven's character had the gift! What's the deal? Does both the girls have the gift?

Yes I read in an interview that if Eddie Murphy had signed on to be in DD3 then the storyline would have focused on both Eddie and Raven but since he didn't Raven didn't bother signing on. As far as the gift of communicating with animals, I guess Raven got it first because she can talk to animals.

Yes It is good and worth seeing. I wasn't sure but was presently surprised and really enjoyed it.

I just watched the 2nd. Charisse got the gift just before her 16th birthday and Maya was the younger sister. Maybe age had something to do with it.
