What an achievement!

Regardless of what you think of the finished film, these guys went out and made a hugely ambitious martial arts action sci-fi romp. Not only that, but they finished it AND got it released internationally.

So many indie-produced movies never even finish filming, or are abandoned at different stages, so full credit to this team for seeing it through and getting it out there.

Not only that but the set-pieces throughout the movie are well staged and edited with razor sharp precision, especially the unarmed combat scenes. It should also be pointed out that the makers have gone on to bigger and better things.

Oh and just to add, I didn't work on the film, but I think I would have quite liked to. Anyone who takes it all the way in production deserves full respect even if the finished film has some dodgy bits or is not to everybody's tastes.
