Terrible trailer but good movie
Yet another example of a good movie being hurt by a lame trailer. Had I known this was written in part by John Cleese, I'd have seen it in the theater.

shareNo doubt. Trailers so often stink. I recently looked up the trailer for Young Frankenstein to share with a younger person and found it completely unappealing.
shareI fully agree.
For some reason DreamWorks can make really great and stunning films, but their marketing always almost ruins them. Main reason why I did not have the pleasure of seeing "How to Train Your Dragon" or "Rise of the Guardians" in theaters, the trailers didn't make them appealing so I passed them up.
So glad I realized their movies are really good while this one was playing. Would have kicked myself again for missing out on another of their nice ones.
