They.ve Got a Hell of a Band...TONS of questions! HELP!

Does anyone feel up to explaining this episode?

Is the couple dead? Is everything after the diner a dream?

Why does the woman see her husband and herself old when in the scene with the fallen tree in the middle of the road?

If they.re not dead, how is it they get stuck in Rock n Roll Heaven?

What about the girl who warned them to get out while they still could? Why didn.t she try to escape?

Safe to assume the concert went on for eternity and that the couple are trapped inside a 45 in a jukebox somewhere?

Someone please help explain!!!

No, I do not think so.

"Why does the woman see her husband and herself old when in the scene with the fallen tree in the middle of the road? "

Its a premonition, on being stuck in the little town until they get old (that is, forever for them).

"If they.re not dead, how is it they get stuck in Rock n Roll Heaven? "

Thats looking for a physical answer to a story like this, which cant be explained. In the world of this story, the town exists outside the track, that for some reason, dead musicians have popped up in.

"What about the girl who warned them to get out while they still could? Why didn.t she try to escape? "

The girl, like the non-musician occupants of the town, were like the couple. They came there by mistake, and now are stuck. She probably knew she couldnt escape, and might have tried before, but was futile as she might have been stopped.

"Safe to assume the concert went on for eternity and that the couple are trapped inside a 45 in a jukebox somewhere? "

Dont take it too literal. Just take it the couple are there in that town, and anyone who again makes a wrong turn, will see the couple sitting there looking depressed.

Seriously one of the dumbest shows I have ever seen. What the hell was up with the menacing teenagers at the beginning and the juke box thing at the diner filling up with blood and body parts. The record spinning at the end was also retarded. Its like they didnt know how to end the show so they went with something ridiculous and hoped people would think it was so out there it was smart.

I know this is years late, but have you even read the actual story that this episode was based off of? Things you mention are actually in the story. And the record spinning at the end? It is signifying that it is eternity, it is never ending. The record keeps spinning round and round, never stopping. Just like there time in "rock n roll Heaven."
