Ach, it's not that bad. I get enough entertainment from it to consider it worth watching, but not worth paying to watch.

If celibacy was good enough for my father, and his father before him, it's bloody well good enough for me!

I liked it well enough when it was on telly.
I got the two series DVD set today and watched them both back to back.
Know what?
It was great.
I wasn't drunk/high either.

You get the character development much better and it all seems to make more sense.
It's not belly laugh like Dwarf - but plenty of laugh out loud moments, and enough character interest to make you want to know what happens to them next.
It's not meant to be Red Dwarf either - so accept it for what it is.
Something which stands really well on it's own.

Red Dwarf was better, but its a shame that's what everyone was expeting otherwise it could have been much better.

I loved it, not for everyone, but it was a helluva great show. Any yeah, probably as good high, but why was the brain cells on the drugs.

Have only seen it ocassionally by accident but now it's on Dave was intending on watching the whole series. It has after all got both Nick Frost and Kevin Eldon who are awesome. Also Johnson's in it.

i really dont see why this is hated so much, ive just got both series after watching them on tv and i love the show. i think he does take david brent of a bit to much but he manages to pull it off. sad to see that the bbc has axed a show like this but is willing to give crap like my family its 30th series(feels like 30 anyway). sadly bbc is dumbing down on its comedy these days, if the masses dont watch then they arnt inerested sadly.

A lot of people got hooked on the show and the BBC axed it, just as it was getting more viewers. Yeh I agree, My Family is the pits.

My mate Keef thinks "My Family" is the funniest sitcom since his all time faves "Love thy neighbour" and "The Charlie Drake Show" were on in 60s and 70s. Keef should know he is a buff
oon comedy.

Keefy, the bookies will no longer quote odds. They say it is a psychotic obsession you are suffering with Hyperdrive and that you are creepily stalking the board 24/7. Treatment is needed, they suggest weaning yourself off Hyperdrive by cutting down your Hyperdrive DVD viewing by at least 50% immediately, Byeeee!!!
