I was just on their website a minute ago, and on the main page it says that Orla is taking a full time break and Alex will be touring full time. This is just sad. I mean no disrespect to any of the girls or the fans here, but really? It just really sucks.

I agree. I'm thinking though that it may be because they are touring a lot. They don't get too much time off. I saw them in April and they are already touring again. It must be really stressful to be touring that much when you have family

That's very true, why quit when you're this far in the game? They are so popular now, so why quit when you have it made? I don't think the other girls will back out now. If they do, there would be no point to having Celtic Woman anymore. It wouldn't be the same.

When I saw the girls in April, Alex was there to replace Lisa while she was on maternity leave. She was alright, Lynn did a very good job. I really will miss Maev and Orla as well. If any of the other three quit, I'm pretty sure that would be the end of Celtic Woman.
shareI agree with you. Celtic Woman would lose its luster if any more of the original ladies move on. It is already going to be so different without Meav and Orla. Oh well. It's obviously not up to me!

shareYup. Not necessarily the prettiest (I tend to find conventionally pretty women not that interesting), but there's something very sexy about her. I have fairly good "G.I.B." instincts, and I get a good read off Orla. Plus she has a kind of nose I always find attractive. The rest of her seems pretty good, too, although I usually prefer a little more meat on the bone.
