This film was created by the Illuminati to avert people from the number 23. 23 is a holy number so they want us to stay away from it. It really is everywhere. This movie was made badly on purpose, so people will see it and associate the the number 23 with a feeling of displeasure or disappointment. They want us to associate the number 23 with insanity, violence, and death. The Illuminati corrupt archetypal symbols and play on human emotions for their own personal gain. 23 is a number of great power that they don't want us normal people to keep in our minds.

In the film, the professor says 3 divided by 2 is .666. It's not, a scientific calculator will give .66666666666667; 13 6s and a 7, 13 being a holy number that purifies and 7 being a holy number which represents the unity of humanity. 6 is the number of chaos and discord, so the 13 6s are cleansed leaving only a 7. 3 plus 2 equals 5, the number of humanity. 5 plus 2 equals 7. 5 plus 3 equals 8, the number of the infinite cycle of the universe. 5 plus 2 plus 3 equals 10, the number which represents the creator and all creation.

There is Freemason and Occult imagery all throughout this film. Stained glass windows, the hangman's noose, the color blue (like the blue links on this page and all web pages), polished marble pillars in a rundown hotel (the name of which is the King Edward, a famous Freemason; The King Edward Lodge of South Africa for example), the flashing "O" and "T" on the hotel sign at the end (two powerful Masonic symbols) leaving the letters "HEL", the five pointed star, the chessboard pattern, the sacrificial cutting of the throat, the Sun with rays, the skull in the grave, sexual deviance like bondage and voyeurism, and many more Occult symbols and imagery. Even the song at the end "Banality of Evil" is a Masonic chant with truly evil lyrics.

This film is nothing more than mass programming. If you ever want to know if a film is just programming, look for an unusual amount of the color blue and the symbols I mentioned above.

Yes, but in real math theory it is .666 repeating infinitely, so to add that "7" is technically incorrect -- doesn't matter what a calculator says.

Not saying I don't see your point, but this is a reach just as the movie itself states "you're looking for 23, so you're finding it."

The seven only appears on a calculator because it would be impossible to print the infinite number of sixes. (As anothermoviewatcher rightly said it would be an infinite pattern.) The seven comes from rounding up, common practice in maths.

Illuminati symbolism is everywhere. Pretty much most Hollywood movies are Illuminati programming devices these days, just like big budget TV shows and advertisements, and most high end media in general, particularly the news.

It is all there to bombard us with hypnotic waves of disinformation and pretty colours and loud noises, distracting us from the real issues going on around us. As O.P has pointed out, the symbolic element to all this is crucial, because that is exactly what all this is to these forces, one big occultist ritual.

I said, "How about 23 cents?" Then I got scared and threw it at him.

He beat the heck out of me.

I don't think he saw the movie.

God, not another twit parroting the disproved "Illuminati" nonsense. You people have no clue do you ? The Illuminati ***does not** exist in the real world but only in the finds of the feeble and close-minded who want to blame some non-existant entity for the failures in their life.

The real Bavarian Illuminati did exist for a short time back in 1776 but that group quickly faded away. It was a masonic splinter group headed by a Jesuit.

As for the No.23 symbolism - get real. Such occult numbers can be interpreted and used for both good and evil. The real programming here is done by the fools themselves who believe unproven facts without doing proper research. The web is flooded with tons of disinformation like this and fools like the OP so it's important for people to think for themselves and not to believe everything you read.

Make of it what you will, but it doesn't appear to be mentioned in the film, as well as 'the knights templar', a reference to freemasonry.

Anyway, if anything, the number 11 is more synonymous with the illuminati.
