Question about the snake scene.

Borrowed this from my best friend, only his wasn't the unrated version. Truth be told I had no clue that there two versions beforehand, so watching this version there were tell-tale signs of editing out the red.

To the point: While the giant is holding our snake victim, the Asian man seems to cut at her with a knife. From the angle, I couldn't make out where exactly on her face/neck that he was cutting her, and many assumptions came to mind- but I'm guessing that he sliced out her tongue?

After the tube-snake torture, "The Giant" stabs "Sarah" in the abdomen, causing a massive blood fountain after which the snake slithers out of the gash and goes on it's merry way.

Thanks for the reply- I know about the snake's exit, but I could've sworn that Sarah was cut (by the Asian guy) before the tube hit her lips. At least it looks like this might have happened from the low camera angle?

I'll keep an eye out for your future films. I couldn't help but think of Live Feed after seeing previews for Vacancy, but I'm sure that you're hearing this alot.

Hey man,

I totally thought the same thing when I saw the trailer for "Vacancy". I was like, hmmm, big-budget remake of "Live Feed".

In any case, there may be a continuity error that you're seeing with the lips bloody. I'll peep the R-rated and see what you mean. I know that it was tough to cut around all of that to get the R. I just hope that the R makes at least some sense to anyone who rents it.

I'll get back to you after I check that scene.

Yeah i actually thought he just rammed the sword down her neck....and then well, it was a tube and there was a snake..aahh i just don't know.
