Where did you find the actor who played the executioner - and what is he like in real life? Just watched film on Horror Channel not too badly cut and for what you were trying to achieve I believe you did it! To all the so called critics try producing something yourselves!
shareHello! The Executioner was played by hulking Vancouver actor Mike Bennett...he's very personable and a great guy all around. I hope to work with him again when I need a big ass kicking type guy in one of my movies. I believe he came to a casting call for that part...is the Horror Channel in the UK?

Yes we get the Horror Channel through Sky here in the U.K. and checking the censorship site it looked like your film escaped mostly uncut!
Recently watched Gutterballs - I was a teenager when we went through the so called video nasty phase here in the uk - when it was an arrestable offence for video stores to rent out films like spit on your grave - bogeyman etc - and New York Ripper was escorted out of the country!! Just made me wonder what our government would of made of your film then! Mary Whitehouse would have had a stroke!!! As for me I bet you had loads of fun making it and I get the feeling thats why you do it - I thought it was well done - but I can see why you can alienate people to your films - but hey, you can't please all of the people all of the time!
