is it because there are two versions out there (one of which sux), and people that are watching it on a reccomendations are getting the wrong (the cut version) movie? what are the major differences between the two versions? I am about to watch the movie and i think that i have the right one but i do not want to ruin it (if i dont). someone help please!
I think what he's saying is that there are crappier movies than "Live Feed" and those movies have higher ratings. It seemed as though certain viewers of "Live Feed" were hellbent on getting the rating as low as possible. To be honest, the ratings on IMDB to me, don't matter now, as much as they use to. It's a flawed system. The horror genre is lucky to have a few 5's and 6's...it seems it's the worst rated genre...but also the most popular? Go figure.

Horror is a popular genre, however it's saturated with very poor movies. People are more likely to give them a chance than many other movies because they don't require the same amount of concentration and are often relatively short so you can get through them easier than most genres, even if they are likely to end up being crap overall.

I actually had to look back at the version I saw and reviewed in case I had been harsh. Turns out I did own and watch the unrated version and I was right it was still a terrible film.
