Same anime like this

Quite true,

initial D is really the only thing that is on the same level as hajime no ippo,
although I have to say I don´t like the last season of Initial D, there its just a little bit too much "car magic" (they didn´t even explained it, the car just does just magic stuff, all this disappearing and speeding around the corner with wings and so on)

Its basically about a talented young driver that learned driving and never cared about racing, just like Ippo developed a strong body without ever thinking about fighting or boxing.
