How many girls watched this anime, and enjoyed it?

I'm just wondering, because I'm a woman and my husband loves this anime. I was reluctant to watch it, because I'm not really into boxing, but I eventually gave it a try and absolutely loved it. :)

I LOVE it, it's my favorite anime. I watched it the first time when I was 22, now I'm 32 and have probably re-watched the entire series three or four times since then.
