Good Movie!

After Googling, Googling and more Googling (and sifting through tonnes of references to the Sade song, I finally found a website in March for Superchannel - specialty channels that were airing the movie multiple times over the month of April. So I asked my landlady to add the channels to our satellite service, especially for this.

Although not recommended for the clinically depressed, and without including spoliers, I thought this was a great movie and worth the "fight" to find. I thought everything was done pretty tastefully (I was especially nervous about the potential for "gratuitous" sex scenes but even that subject matter was handled well). Time-wise, I thought 98 minutes was perfect.

Characters aside, I thought Kim Coates and Lara Daans worked well together on screen and of course, Kim's performance just makes me an even bigger fan of his. Although it deals with depression, mental illness, addictions, etc., etc. the story does include an element of hope in it {to know more, see the movie :)} so it wasn't ALL sad and bad.

I hope that anyone who wants to see this movie is able to.
