Chuck Norris references
1. The library includes copies of "The Holy Bible" from when it was known as "Chuck Norris and Friends", and one of the books that falls on Nodoka while she's making advances on Negi during the love potion's duration is titled "The Book of Norris".
2. Nuck Chorris is one of the teachers in the teacher's lounge and later appears as the high school's teacher.
3. One of the notes on Asuna Kagurazaka reads "Worships Chuck Norris as a God"; another reads "Has an amazing roundhouse kick".
4. One of Nodoka's facts addressed to Negi while showing him the library is "Did you know that Chuck Norris doesn't read books? He just stares the damn things down until he gets the information he wants. That's just why Asuna worships the guy as a God."
5. Lingshen Chow warns in one original scene created for the movie, "Beware. This force is even greater than Chuck Norris. Proper teleportation in quantam physics involves me giving you all roundhouse kicks to the face."
Fools pitied
1. Asuna pities Konoka Konoe: "I pity the fool who just signed on as Negi's girlfriend. Yech!"
2. Fei Ku pities Negi during crowd talks: "I pity fool who go under eraser and then walk into trap set by twins."
3. Madoka pities random people during crowd talks: "I pity the fool who goes aboot calling me Kugimi to my face. That's not right!"
4. Asuna pities Negi: "Oh, what luck. I was tired of being dressed. So I pity the fool responsible."
5. Asuna pities Konoka and Ayaka: "I pity the fools who fell for that $#!t about love potions."
6. Asuna pities Negi a second time: "I pity the ungrateful fool."
7. Negi pities Asuna during a deleted scene: "I pity thee, fool."
8. Asuna pities Ayaka, Konoka, Nodoka, Haruna, and Yue: "I pity those fools. I mean, what luck! They walk in on us!"
9. Asuna pities Negi a third time: "Ah, but he's only 9 years old. So, I pity the fool."
10. Takahata-sensei pities Asuna: "Asuna-san. Huh huh. Should've known. Being a pain in the ass for Negi again, hmm? Well, I pity thee, fool. So keep up the good work!"
11. Lingshen Chow pities Negi, Asuna, Shiina, Madoka, Kakizaki, Konoka, and Yuna in an incantation to teleport them to Spain in a movie-original scene: "I pity the fools who are about to go to Spain."
12. Eiko the High School Ace pities Negi: "I don't hate their teacher. I pity the fool."
Russian reversals
1. Konoka: "C'mon, it was just a joke you ruined!" Asuna: "I'd watch my mouth if I were you, Konoka, because in Soviet Russia, joke ruins YOU!!"
2. Eiko: "Eat this!" (she throws the ball at Asuna, who bats it away) Asuna: "In Japan, you play dodgeball; in Soviet Russia, ball dodges YOU!!" Kaede: "Boy, is that joke getting old."
Alfred Hitchcock cameo: His CGI rendition is seen at Mahora Grand Central Station near the beginning
Stinking badges
1. Asuna: Let me remind you, Konoka, that we don't need no stinking pint-sized teacher.
2. Asuna: Love potion? I think it's you, Negi-sensei, that needs this stinking love potion! (she forces Negi to drink the whole thing) Figures. It doesn't work. Know why? Because YOU SUCK.
3. Negi: Bath? I don't need no stinking bath!
Anti-Atlantic Records snipes
1. Asuna gets stripped a second time by Negi's sneezing, and in the very next scene she's seen vandalizing Negi's Wikipedia page by replacing the entire text with a big blue "YOU SUCK!"
2. One of the papers that Negi is given by Shizuna-sensei is actually a back-masked message. The text, "!skcus sdroceR citnaltA", is actually backwards for "Atlantic Records sucks!"
3. The teleportation incantation by Lingshen Chao ends with deliberate backmasking: "'Scuss dro care kit nalta!" is actually "Atlantic Records sucks!" backwards.
Snakes on a Plane
A book in the library is "Snakes on a Plane" by Ken Akamatsu.
Sakurako Shiina's black cats are named "Neville" and "Flynn".
Prank calls to Starbooks
1. (Sakurako Shiina calls 555-0975)
OWNER: Starbooks Coffee.
SHIINA: G'Day. Is Oliver there?
OWNER: Oliver who?
SHIINA: Klozoff.
OWNER: Hold on, I'll check. Oliver Klozoff! Call for OLIVER KLOZOFF!
(Everyone at Starbooks laughs)
(Asuna eavesdrops on Shiina with Konoka and Negi)
OWNER: Listen, you lousy bum, if I ever get a hold of you, I swear I'll cut your belly open!
2. (Sakurako Shiina calls 555-0975)
OWNER: Starbooks Coffee.
SHIINA: Uh, yes, I'm looking for a friend of mine. Last name Jaboi. First name Sol.

SOULJA BOY: Uh, I'm Sol Jaboi.
OWNER: Telephone.
(Owner hands over the receiver)
SOULJA BOY: Hello, this is Sol Jaboi.
SHIINA: Uh, hi.
SOULJA BOY: Who's this?
SHIINA: Sakurako Shiina.
SOULJA BOY: Well, what can I do for you, Sakurako?
SHIINA: Uh, look, I'll level with you, Mister. This is a crank call that sort of backfired, and I'd like to bail out right now.
SOULJA BOY: All right. Better luck next time.
(Soulja Boy hangs up)
Wilhelm scream
1. When Negi gets caught in a trap set up by 2-A as he first enters.
2. When Asuna hits Ayaka with a rock (Asuna was obviously aiming at Negi).
3. When Asuna roundhouse kicks the locked library door, sending Negi and Nodoka flying.
4. When Asuna throws Negi into the bathhouse's bathing area.
5. When a doogeball tossed by a Black Lily hits Negi (Asuna quickly catches the rebound a split second later).

"Are you trying to say "capisce"? Because it hurts my ears the way you say it."

reply

As John Robinson would say "Awww that's retarded." No but seriously, what are you thinking. Unknowns would so rule.

reply

I've no time for unknowns!

I don't have a full Season 2 cast list to post yet, but during the frog episode in Episode 202 Side A: "Frogs on a Bus", Asuna will say, "I've had it with these mother****ing frogs on this mother****ing bus!"

reply

Um, no sorry but that cast wouldn't work, I agree with the other guy, unknown actors would work.

No, you've proven yourself retarded thinking that the cast of Harry Potter could do anything.

All your little casting suggestions are the three main kids from Harry Potter, that's down right sad. It's not just one of your fantasy live action version of casts, it's ALL of them. Get a life, Emma will probably never act again and I'm sure the kid playing Harry is just going to stick to screwing horses on stage.

That's it! I'm having you reported for prejudice against these people I want to cast for a live-action Negima film!

OK, on second thought, I'll just ignore you. How would you like that?

Wow, I don't care, it's still sad.

reply

ryan, why do you have an obsession casting Harry Potter actors and thinking the Disney company would distribute just about any movie?

[] Proud Member of the Unholy Alliance of Winx Haters []

reply

Because number 1, they aren't being diverse enough and number 2, Disney, or at least a subsidiary, distributes Cinergi material!

Do you even read your posts? I mean no offense but your cast and your choice of directors are horrible.

What the...!? How dare you call me dense! I mean, sure I list the cast and directors based on fanboyism, but at least I'm serious about it!

"Are you trying to say "capisce"? Because it hurts my ears the way you say it."

reply

What's sad about your cast and director list is that you're actually serious about it.

[] Proud Member of the Unholy Alliance of Winx Haters []

reply

It ain't sad at all! It's just the way my brain works.

Sorry, but if I even tried, I'd be dead--my brain would be scattered all over the place, not to mention the parts coming out of my NOSE! AAAGH! SCARYYYYYY!

[] Proud Member of the Unholy Alliance of Winx Haters []

reply

Maybe so dense as to take whatever you say literally, but not at all THAT dense.

>:(
"Are you trying to say "capisce"? Because it hurts my ears the way you say it."

reply

Look, can you just please not think of those actors everytime you make a cast list especially your choice of distributors, you know I'm suprised you never did something like that when Transformers became a movie.

[] Proud Member of the Unholy Alliance of Winx Haters []

reply

Did something like WHAT?

>:(
"Are you trying to say "capisce"? Because it hurts my ears the way you say it."

reply

Yeah, you heard me. I'm surprised you didn't came up with your own cast when it was annouced that Transformers was going to become a movie.

[] Proud Member of the Unholy Alliance of Winx Haters []

reply

Because I didn't know about it until I saw the trailer.

>:(
"Are you trying to say "capisce"? Because it hurts my ears the way you say it."

reply

But I'm sure that if yo've head of Transformes and posted your cast list and director list, it'll be stupid as usual, I'm sorry but your choice of actors, directors distributors, etc. are just plain *beep*, no offense.

[] Proud Member of the Unholy Alliance of Winx Haters []

reply

I was just surprised you'd use such language.

>:(
