Just a quick question to anyone who knows. I just recently started watching the anime version and i was just wondering since the anime is so short how different is it from the manga? PLEASE dont give away any spoilers, and i was just curious if they completely changed it as the manga is ongoing.

I actually watched this anime 7 years ago but I quickly dropped it after watching a few episodes and never touched anything Negima-related until last year. When I decided to give the manga a try last year, I realized that I was so wrong to drop the franchise altogether and it quickly became my favourite manga series.
This series did in fact follow the manga series at first (unlike the second anime) but they didn't do it quite correctly and the last few episodes regarding Asuna never happened in the manga at all.
